In the summer of 2006, my brother and I bicycled more than 500km across Denmark, from Skagen to Bornholm, in order to raise money for the charity Azafady. Thanks to family and friends who sponsored us, we managed to reach (and exceed) our fundraising target of £2,000 / 20,000 DKK.

In the spring of 2007, I went to Madagascar for 3 months to work on several of Azafady's education, environmental and sanitation projects, as an intern on their Pioneer Scheme.
