Day 6 (27.07.06)

Ebeltoft - Århus - Sjællands Odde

53.74 km or 33.37 miles

We set off from Ebeltoft along the coast, and over the Mols hills, stopping at a little beach near Århus for lunch. We then made our way into the centre of Århus where we met Mum and Charlotte who were at Den Gamle By (the Old Town). We loaded our bikes onto the back of the car and got the speedy ferry from Århus to Sjællands Odde, enjoying the buffet supper on the way. We then camped at a friend’s house just down the road at Lumsås. At about 2.00am there was pretty amazing thunderstorm – unfortunately the heat wave that we had been enjoying refused to hold out until we made it home.

About Azafady »

Azafady is a registered UK charity and Malagasy NGO, which works in southeast Madagascar with local communities on nature conservation, health and education.

About Madagascar »

Madagascar is the world's fourth largest island. It has an absolutely staggering diversity of plant and animal species, 80% of which are found nowhere else on the planet. However, while one of the biologically richest places on Earth; it is also one of the world’s poorest countries. The country typically spends as much on debt repayments each year as it does on health and education combined.
